The number of subscriptions to Starzplay in the Middle East and North Africa has increased by a massive 479% in just 12 months.
Average revenue per user also increased by 30% as subscribers picked up in more sports packages including Premier Sports League (live rugby) and ICC Men’s T20 World Cup cricket.

We launched our first live sports channel in 2021 and our recent study shows that the sports category on our platform has witnessed stupendous growth, which is a testament to the growing demand for exclusive and live sports content.”
UAE continues to be the largest growth market for Starzplay, in terms of the percentage increase in sign-ups, followed by Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Starzplay’s MENA edition is available in 20 countries across the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan.
