Belgian operator VOO will finally switch off its analogue TV and radio transmissions this year.
The switch will be made on a region by region basis with customers being given advanced warning of when the change will be made in their area.
The francophone network already has a full digital service available.
Telenet, which covers Flanders, made the switch to digital last year.
Last month we reported public broadcaster RTBF wants to switch off its digital terrestrial broadcasts altogether by 2027.
Terrestrial broadcasts in French-speaking Wallonia moved to digital in 2010.
