The renewal of the licence held by the TVN Discovery Group channel TVN7 is likely to go to the wire.
According to Wirtualne Media, its licence expires on February 25, 2022 and the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT), as in the case of the news channel TVN24, is keeping the broadcaster in suspense.
It adds that the KRRiT sees the ownership of TVN7 as crucial in its decision the renew its licence, with the channel being a terrestrial service, unlike satellite-delivered TVN24.
Wirtualne Media says that TVN Discovery Group is considering legal action to ensure that TVN7 remains on air.
