The overwhelming majority (89%) of Slovenes who subscribe to a broadband connection also opt for a TV service.
Furthermore, according to the regulator AKOS, for connections with a TV service, the average number of channels included in the basic package of services is 178.
AKOS based its findings on information on retail services provided by 50 active operators in December 2020.
It also notes that in the observed period quadruple play services were the most popular, followed by triple play. Three or four different active providers of retail broadband services were present in over half (55.73%) of population centres.
The average price of the ordered connection paid by users was €50.78 including VAT for basic services, €52.41 including VAT for basic and related services and € 52.06 including VAT for the entire amount of the offer on the connection.
