UPC has introduced 5G services to its subscribers in Poland.
Its offer comes in the form of two packages – 25GB for PLN24.99 (€5.44) and 50GB for PLN59.90, along with unlimited calls and SMS – and is available to both new and existing customers who purchase the operator’s fixed line or only mobile services.
UPC Polska has also introduced a comprehensive Christmas package of premium digital services for the home. Consisting of 750 Mbps internet, TV (Max Premium with 184 channels including Cinemax and Filmbox premium channels), four premium packages (HBO, Polsat Sport Premium, Eleven Sports and Viaplay) and 4K set-top boxes (UPC 4K TV Box or 4K CI Card) and UPC TV Go application, it costs PLN99.99 a month throughout a contract.
The news comes alongside the release of UPC Polska’s latest results. They show that the operator, which is in the process of being sold by Liberty Global to France’s Iliad, ended September with a total of 1,548,500 customers to its services, adding 13,100 in the third quarter.
It had 3,306,200 digital, 1,325,600 internet, 1,372,900 TV and 116,100 mobile subscribers as of the end of September. All told, it gained 16,500 internet, 17,900 TV and 10,700 mobile customers in the quarter.
UPC Polska reached a total of 3,684,300 households, 3.044,665 of which were able to receive its 1 Gbps service.
