In a statement published by Poslovni, the company says that A1 Hrvatska has initiated a lawsuit against it with the regulator HAKOM.
In it, A1 Hrvatska claims that United Group is using its infrastructure illegally.
Telemach Hrvatska counters this by saying that “since this claim damages the reputation of Telemach Croatia and leads readers to the wrong conclusion, Telemach Croatia wants to emphasise that it is building an optical network in such a way that the physical infrastructure inside buildings needed to install an optical network to each user inside the building is used solely by valid legal basics in the form of an agreement signed with the co-owners of the buildings, who are also co-owners of the physical infrastructure in question”.
It concludes by saying that “the dispute in question is ongoing, and A1 has not submitted documentation from the alleged ownership status of A1 or any other right under which A1 would be authorized to manage the physical infrastructure inside the buildings for several months from the beginning of the dispute until today. By doing so, A1 seeks to mislead the Agency (HAKOM) and other market participants and at the same time prevent them from accessing Telemach’s services, thereby distorting competition”.
