The Slovak national commercial station Joj has launched a new sports channel.
Known as Joj Sport, it will offer up to 6,500 hours of live broadcasts a year, along with 800 domestic league games and a number of sports from abroad.
The channel is already being distributed by Antik Telecom in its basic TV packages, along with the internet and DTH services AntikTV and AntikSat respectively.
It will also be distributed by the Slovak pay-DTT platform Plustelka and, according to Digital Rozhlas, made in neighbouring Czech Republic.
