Jelena Trivan to head Mtel

September 15, 2021 09.41 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Jelena Trivan has been appointed the general director of Bosnia’s Telekom Srpske (Mtel), effective September 15.

Capital reports that she replaces Marko Lopicic, who has held the post since June 2016, prior to which he was executive director for corporate affairs since 2007, when the Banja Luka-based operator was bought by Telekom Srbija. Lopicic will now move to another position at Telekom Srbija, where he began his career to 2000.

Trivan has been a Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia since 2007 and a member of the Committee on European Integration and the Committee on Culture and Information.

Since January 2015, she has been the director, editor-in-chief of the Official Gazette of Serbia, and since 2018 the president of the board of directors of the Film Centre of Serbia.
