Vodafone Romania simplifies offer

September 3, 2021 10.16 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Vodafone has launched a new simplified and flexible offer of fixed internet and TV services in Romania.

In what it claims to be a first for the market, users have the option to add free extra benefits, at their choice, depending on their preferences, while having better clarity as to the contents of the package and the related costs. The offer, which is available from September 1 until the end of next month, covers the Home Deal package, which includes 500 Mbps internet and access to 157 TV channels (Sport option included). To this package, customers can add, depending on their preferences and at no additional cost, two of the following four extra benefits: HBO and HBO GO free for 12 months, Vodafone TV with VOD options and 4K channels, 40 TV channels or a portable Wi-Fi mini-router (internet back-up). The package is available for €9.9 a month for customers who choose exclusively fixed services or €7.9 a month for users who also benefit from mobile services.

For customers who want all these benefits, Vodafone has launched the All-Inclusive package with free HBO and HBO GO for 24 months, at the promotional price of €14.9 a month for those who want only fixed services and €12.9 a month for mobile service subscribers.

Commenting on the development, Nedim Baytorun, consumer business director, Vodafone Romania, said: “When we think of commercial offers, in addition to quality, state-of-the-art services, we want to offer our customers relevant and attractive benefits and service packages that best meet their consumption habits and desires, but also transparency and ease. to choose what is best for them. The new commercial offer is significantly simplified and gives customers the opportunity to configure with extra benefits the package of fixed services, simple and fast. Through this offer, we provide customers with access to fixed internet of the highest quality, but also to the most varied package of TV channels and video on demand content in Romania, at unbeatable prices, from only €7.9 a month”.

Vodafone notes that its TV service is based on a platform that includes a 4K mediabox, unique on the Romanian market, which combines interactivity, streaming applications and digital cable. With Vodafone TV, users can enjoy the richest content offering, which includes the widest TV grid, up to 200 channels in SD, HD and 4K, as well as the largest VOD collection, with thousands of hours of quality content and all HBO GO content in a dedicated section that provides access to HBO productions – original series, movies, documentaries, local productions, but also series, movies and children’s programmes from other premium content providers.
