Helge Øien has been appointed as CFO of Nordic TV distributor Allente, the operator created from the merger of Canal Digital and Viasat Consumer.
He takes on the role from Jonas Gustafsson who became CEO of the company earlier this year.
“Helge Øien’s background and broad expertise is the perfect match for Allente as we take the next step in our growth journey and broaden our offering this autumn. Helge will join a young, successful company with a fantastic team, and we warmly welcome him,” says Gustafsson.
Most recently, Øien was CFO of Telenor Myanmar, and previously worked in the finance department of Telenor Group, including M&A and Investor Relations.

Allente’s acting CFO Ivan Busk Ginnerup will return to the role of Business & Financial Control Director for the company when Øien joins on 1 September.
