Alain Weill is to leave Altice France, six years after selling his NextRadioTV group to the Patrick Drahi company.
Drahi initially purchased a minority stake in NextRadioTV, which includes BFMTV and RMC, before eventually becoming it sole shareholder.
“I was supposed to stay for four years, but in the end it lasted six,” Alain Weill told Challenges, which first reported the story.
Alain Weill remains owner of L’Express, which was taken out of Altice Media.
Arthur Dreyfuss will become CEO of Altice Media. He remains Secretary General of Altice France (including SFR). Grégory Rabuel, the current head of SFR, is taking on a new role as CEO of Altice France and of the SFR company.
