IPTV services were received in nearly a third (30.1%) of TV households in Croatia in the first quarter.
The latest report on the electronic communications market published by the regulator HAKOM adds that cable TV services were received in 12.2%, satellite in 9.8% and pay-DTT in 6.9%, while 41.05% watched FTA terrestrial TV.
The report notes that the electronic communications market as a whole was worth 3.3% more in Q1 than in the same period last year.
Revenues in the broadband sector were 9.22% higher, while in the TV sector they were up by 3.5%.
Although total investment in the sector was slightly down, it was significantly higher – up 140% on Q1 2020 – in fibre-optic infrastructure.
