The cost of streaming DAZN in Italy is to increase threefold following the acquisition of the domestic rights to Serie A football.
Officially, DAZN’s monthly subscription will increase from €9.99 to €29.99. However, existing customers and anyone coming forward in July will be able to enjoy the discounted rate of €19.99.
There’s no change to DAZN’s account sharing policy that allows users to access to two different streams on a maximum of six registered devices.
DAZN will pay €840 million per season for exclusive rights to seven out of the 10 weekly matches in Serie A between 2021/22 and 2023/24. It will be able to screen every match live and on demand, a first for the channel.
The three remaining weekly games will be shown on both DAZN and Sky Sport.
