Ofcom has written to Sky over the way the pay-TV platform handles notifies customers at the end of a minimum contract period.
The regulator believes Sky is in contravention of new rules requiring broadband, mobile, home phone and pay-TV companies to notify their residential and business customers when their minimum contract period is coming to an end.
Sky says it doesn’t believe standalone pay-TV services come under these regulations.
A final decision will be made by the end of the summer.
