A1 Telekom Austria Group had revenues of €1,135.5 million in the first quarter, or 0.8% more than in the same period last year.
At the same time, its EBITDA was €398.3 million (+4.7%) and net result €108.9 million (+22%).
Its international (CEE) operations ended Q1 with a total of 2,965.3 million fixed-line RGUs, or 1.8% more than a year earlier. Fixed line revenues grew most strongly in Bulgaria (+9.4% to €35.1 million) and fell sharpest in Serbia (-11.1% to €1.9 million).
Broadband TV News notes that the group has not released its pay-TV subscriber figures for any of the markets it operates in.
However, in his comments on the results Alejandro Plater, COO of A1 Telekom Austria Group, said that there was strong demand for TV in CEE.
