The organisers of Middle East media, entertainment and satellite event CABSAT are shifting the show to later in the year.
It will now take place between October 26 and 28 in its regular home of the Dubai World Trade Centre.
In addition to the SATEXPO Summit. CANSAT is also launching NextGen Content in partnership with Dubai Studio City, devised as a new marketplace to buy, sell or co-produce TV and FILM content for the Arabic market.
“The launch of NextGen Content at CABSAT 2021 in October will deliver unprecedented strategic opportunities to the broadcast industry, creating new areas of content collaboration that will contribute to the growth of the emirate’s creative economy,” said Majed Al Suwaidi, Managing Director, Dubai Studio City.
The decision to postpone the show has been backed by a number of regular participants including the Global VSAT Forum, the EMEA Satellite Operators’ Association and the Arab State Broadcasting Union.
