Gazprom-Media Holding has appointed Dmitry Ufaev its deputy DG, effective immediately.
In this position, he will oversee the digital transformation of the holding and its assets.
Ufaev was previously an advisor Alexander Zharov, the holding’s DG. Prior to joining Gazprom-Media, he held various positions in high-tech companies for 20 years, was the creator and co-investor of successful startups related to information and digital technologies and worked in the Moscow Department of Transport.
Commenting on the appointment, Zharov said: “I am glad to welcome Dmitry to this key position for the holding. I am confident that his extensive and diverse experience and digital expertise will allow Gazprom-Media to build the digital transformation process as efficiently as possible at all levels of the organisation and create a basis for successful competition with leading Russian and foreign market players. Dmitry has to do a lot of work to build a management structure for all digital projects of the holding and ensure their practical implementation.
