Telly launches online sports packages

February 25, 2021 08.51 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Czech operator has introduced online sports packages, purchased for 14, 30 or 365 days, to its offer.

They cost CZK150 (€5.80), CZK250 and CZK2,500 respectively, with the 30 and 365 reduced in a special introductory offer to CZK200 and CZK2,000 respectively.

Commenting on the development, Vladimir Rusnak, director of strategy at Telly, said: “Interest in our sports offer has been growing very much in recent months. For example, the demand for UFC matches exceeded our expectations. We were therefore looking for a way to simplify the existing model and bring our offer closer to modern trends. We believe that the automatic renewal subscription variant, as we know it for large video libraries, is the right way to go”.

He added: “Compared to the current daily packages, they come with a significant reduction. The new price of CZK80 per day is based on a new 14-day offer of CZK10.70 per day and an annual subscription with a discounted price of even less than CZK6 per day”.

The packages can be watched on up to two devices and accessed on Samsung, LG, Android TV, Android set-top boxes, Apple TV, Xbox, web browsers or mobile phones and tablets with Android, iOS and Windows 10 operating systems.
