TV3 Group widens OTT reach

February 22, 2021 09.58 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

TV3 Group has increased the reach of its OTT service Go3 through cooperation agreements with major telcos, cable operators and IPTV providers such as Bite, Tele2, Telia and Baltcom.

As a result, Go3’s paying subscriber base now stands at over 200,000, with a substantial part being on long-term (24 month) contracts. Go3’s paying subscriber base grew three-fold in 2020 and it is now the largest OTT SVOD service in the Baltics. The average customer now spends over three hours a day watching content on Go3, a 200% increase on 2019.

Commenting on Go3’s progress, Christian Anting, CEO of TV3 Group, said: “We are excited about the great subscriber growth and strong viewing figures of our OTT service Go3 which now reaches more than 10% of households across the Baltics.”

“This confirms our strategy of reaching distribution partnerships with local platform operators while continuing to invest in original content and international productions.”

Go3 was on December 5, 2019 and offers more than 40 linear TV channels, over 1,000 movies and series on-demand as well as more than 100 hours of live sports every week.

It is available on smartphones and tablets (iOS/Android), on desktops at Go3.lt/lv/tv, on Samsung and LG smart TVs (manufactured from 2016) and on TV sets and other devices with Android TV operating systems.

Moreover, Go3 can also be received on the TV screen using Chromecast as well as through local distribution partners via cable and IPTV.
