Poland’s TVN Discovery Group has announced the departures of Marcin Barcz, director of corporate communications, and Agnieszka Trysla, director of people & culture.
In a statement, it says that this is a result of the ongoing process aimed at closer cooperation with the structures of Discovery EMEA.
Commenting on the development, Katarzyna Kieli, president and director of Discovery EMEA, said: “Poland is one of the key markets for Discovery in Europe. We are constantly working on straightening, increasing the pace and elasticity of our activities. In Poland as well as in the EMEA region, we are currently concentrating on digital expansion, which requires close cooperation in the regional field. Through the use of know-how and the convergence of structures throughout the region, we will be able to better raise our goals and make better use of the opportunities for further development”.
The persons responsible for corporate communication will report directly to the structures in the EMEA region. The new head of people & culture will be responsible for P&C TVN and Discovery in Poland.
Kieli added: “Cooperation with Marcin and Agnieszka was perfect. They played a key role in the process of transforming the company in Poland. I thank them for their commitment and good luck to the successors in the future”.
Both Barcz and Trysla will finish working at TVN Discovery in the coming weeks.
