The Russian OTT operator Okko has appointed Maxim Evdokimov as its general director and Oleg Manzha the head of Okko Sport.
Evdokimov was previously the product director of Okko, joining the service team in December 2020. Prior to that, he held positions at Sberbank and Tinkoff Bank.
Meanwhile, Manzha was previously the marketing director of Okko sport, joining the company in 2020. Prior to that he was the CEO of Sportima for 14 years and head of marketing at Sprandi.
Evdokimov replaces Yana Bartintseva, who has decided to leave the company, and Manzha Mikhail Gershkovich, who has also left.
Okko was one of the first OTT services in the world to show content in 8K.
It ended 2020 with 2.6 million paying customers.
