Silvia Majeska has been appointed the new programme director at the Czech national commercial broadcaster TV Nova.
Quoting TV Nova, Idnes reports that she replaces Alex Ruzek, who is leaving by mutual consent.
It adds that at the same time, Jakub Strycek will take up the newly created position of marketing director at TV Nova.
Majeska has for the last nine years been the programme director at TV Nova’s sister station Markiza in Slovakia.
In her new role, she will be based in Prague and oversee programming strategy at both stations, both for linear channels and the Voyo online platform.
