Anita Orbán has been appointed the deputy CEO for corporate relations at Vodafone Hungary.
She will also become a member of the company’s board from this month. Orbán joins Vodafone Hungary from Tellurian LNG in London, where she held the position of VP for international relations.
At Vodafone Hungary she replaces Gergö J. Budai, who left the position of deputy CEO on November 1, 2020 and will continue his career as the CEO of the newly established Vodafone subsidiary, Vantage Towers Hungary.
The outgoing deputy CEO achieved significant results over his more than three years at Vodafone Hungary: he played a key role in Vodafone-UPC integration and the launch of the country’s first commercial 5G network.
Budai remains the curator and ambassador of the Vodafone Hungary Foundation, and until January 31 will remain the vice chairman of the board of Vodafone Hungary.
