Molotov has added a selection of movies from Sony Pictures to Mango, the free on demand service it launched earlier this month.
Commenting on the development, Grégory Samak, general manager of Molotov, said: “We are thrilled to expand Mango with Sony Pictures films, one of America’s most prestigious studios. Our new free AVOD offer will thus allow our 13 million users to watch or re-watch monuments of the cinema for the first time in France, and only on Molotov. We work every day to diversify and enrich our offers, free and paid, with leading content publishers and studios, French and international”.
Molotov was established by JeanDavid Blanc (founder of AlloCiné) and Pierre Lescure (co-founder of Canal+) four years ago.
