Sky has signed a new agreement with the British Basketball League for the next two seasons.
Sky Sports will screen 30 live matches a season including both the men’s and women’s finals, BBL Trophy Final, BBL Cup Final, BBL Playoffs.
The coverage will begin on December 3 with a double header live from the Eagles Community Arena featuring the most successful BBL side, Newcastle Eagles.
Sky Sports Managing Director Rob Webster said: “We are delighted to welcome the BBL back to Sky Sports. We look forward to showcasing the best of basketball from across the country in what promises to be a busy but exciting period with the 2022 Commonwealth Games on the horizon.”
The remainder of the 2019/20 season was cancelled following the coronavirus outbreak.
