The Croatian incumbent Hrvatski Telekom (HT) is making its digital TV receiver available to everyone in the country, regardless of whether they are users of its services.
In a statement, it says that this is to make the transition to the DVB-T2 standard, due to be completed on October 27, “even more easier and fun”. in addition to free national, regional, and local TV channels, users of the digital TV receiver will have access to more than 40 additional channels, plus HBO and Cinemax services, for up to three months free of charge.
After 90 days, in addition to free national, regional and local TV channels, users will be able to permanently and without any additional fee watch EVOtv channels from the Programi Plus package.
The price of the digital receiver is a one-off HRK189 (€25) and users can take the device with them to any location in Croatia.
