Ukraine’s leading cable operator Volia has opened up it a free catalogue of movies and TV series.
Known as ‘Watch right now!’, it gives viewers access to free and ad-free legal content without a subscription or payment.
Commenting on the development, Sandra Krauina, Volia’s marketing director, said: “At the moment, we are running in test mode to assess the attractiveness of this service. In the future, we plan to qualitatively and quantitatively improve the FreeVOD catalogue by providing users with free access to some premium segment movies, the first episodes of popular series, as well as the archives of UEFA matches”.
The service was officially launched on September 9 and the catalogue will be next updated on September 15. Subsequently, 5-10 films will be replenished at the start of each month.
Watch right now! is available on Smart TV (Samsung, LG, Hisense, Sony, Philips), iOS and Android smartphones, Android media boxes and on the internet.
