Poland’s Zygmunt Solorz and Polsat Group have to date contributed over PLN30 million (€6.7 million) in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
It has been in the form of both financial and material support for hospitals and health care professionals, as well as, for example, children from orphanages.
Commenting on the action, Solorz zaid: “We are a Polish company and it is natural that we decided to act. The Polsat Group and the Polsat Foundation have been involved in aid activities for almost 30 years, during which we have already donated several hundred million zlotys to support society. During the pandemic, when commitment has been particularly needed, we have allocated over PLN30 million to activities in various areas. We worked side by side with millions of people who devoted their time and resources to support health care. In this way we fulfill our social mission. I would also like to appeal to everyone to remember that also after a pandemic many people, children and hospitals will require support”.
