The president of the Polish Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) has initiated ex officio proceedings regarding the annulment of a 5G auction announced on March 6.
In a statement, the regulator says the move is in accordance with amendments to the Telecommunications Law made on May 14 as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, UKE suspended the tender for four frequency reservations in the 3480-3800MHz band in mid-April.
