Digi Slovakia has introduced what it terms a “big novelty”, namely a TV service without any contractual commitment from its customers.
Commenting on the development, Michal Mazar, the company’s marketing and sales director, said: “In the current situation, we have taken a pro-customer step, which we have been considering for a long time. All new services will be now without a monthly commitment on satellite and cable TV. We are convinced that we offer quality services at affordable prices and removing customer commitment is a step forward”.
Digi Slovakia will continue to provide free installation for satellite TV when fully used and the cost of its packages, starting at €9.60 a month, remains unchanged. It is also making HBO available free of charge for a month, both to new and existing customers up until the end of July.
However, Zive reports that in reality the contractual offer is more complex and only applies to customers who have their own dish, LNB and cabling. Digi will then supply them with a set-top box and access card.
