SES has reported a solid set of financial results in step with the company’s forecast.
The Luxembourg satellite operator has seen “limited impact” from the Covid-19 pandemic but given the unprecedented impact on the global economy says it has taken a series of measures to mitigate any issues it may face.
Its reported revenue of €478.9 million, down 1.9%.
Underlying revenue within the Video Distribution business was 8.2% lower in the first quarter, the result in part of volume reductions on renewals secured in the second half of the year.
Networks now represents 40% of the business.
