Serbia Broadband (SBB) claims its network has passed the quality test, with record use of service during the country’s state of emergency.
Internet traffic and TV viewing in real time has increased by 50%, video club content by 65% and video rewind services by 20%.
Meanwhile, use of landline telephony has increased by 85%.
There have also been noticeable changes in the viewership of channels and content. As before, national channels remained the most popular. However, according to TV-beat measurements, the news-based N1 jumped from fifth to third place, while Nova S, offering series and entertainment, claimed fourth place.
SBB notes that ever-popular content such as movies, series and children’s programmes is now being watched even more, both on numerous channels and on the company’s Video Club.
