Canal+ has commenced legal proceedings against two of its set-top box manufacturers.
First reported in La Lettre A, the action in the Paris Commercial Court is being brought against Technicolor and Pace.
Canal is seeking damages from Technicolor, the manufacturer of the new G9 decoder, in which the platform claims as failed to meet its contractual obligations.
Pace, now part of Commscope, is being sued over a series of faults in the G5 version of Canal’s Cube.
