The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has confirmed the 2020 NAB Show will go ahead as planned.
It follows the cancellation of this year’s MWC in Barcelona over concerns about the Coronavirus.
In a statement, the NAB said it was closely monitoring the virus, now known as COVID-19 and was “prepared to devote whatever resources necessary to ensure a safe and productive NAB Show experience.”
The organisation has launched a dedicated page covering the issue on its website and is adhering to all guidance and recommended safety measures issued by the World Health Organisation and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as state and local health organizations.
The annual event is anticipating 1,600 exhibitors and 90,000 attendees.
