Orange has claimed success for its ‘More for More’ strategy employed in Poland.
Latest results published by the company show that 42% more of its customer base used the Orange Fibre service at the end of 2019 than a year earlier. The total increased by 154,000 during the year and 47,000 in Q4 alone.
Meanwhile, the number of Orange TV customers increased by 51,000 during the year to 994,000. The overwhelming majority (83%) of TV customers opted for a converged package.
As of the end of 2019 the number of converged subscribers stood at 1.37 million, or 11% more than a year earlier.
Orange Love gained 133,000 customers during the year.
All told, over 4.2 million apartments, homes and small businesses were covered by Orange’s fibre network as of the end of 2019.
Meanwhile, Orange Polska’s total revenues grew by 2.9% in 2019, in what was the first increase in 15 years. Revenues from converged services alone were 20% higher than a year earlier. EBITDAaL grew by 7% year-on-year, the second time in as many years it increased.
In Romania, Orange ended Q4 with 540,000 customers to its cable and DTH service Orange Home TV, up 7% on a year earlier.
Its fixed broadband services had 352,000 customers, up 23% on a year earlier.
The company’s turnover in Q4 stood at €299 million (+2.4%), while for the year as a whole it amounted to €1.112 billion.
