The Slovak public broadcaster has provided further details about its upcoming new channel Troika.
It will make its debut on Sunday, December 22 at 06.00 and offer documentaries, drama, music, entertainment, current affairs and educational programming, with archived foreign productions to be shown at a future date.
Targeted at both older and younger viewers, it will be shown in two blocks during a 24-period, the first from 06.00 to 12.00 being repeated from 24.00.
Meanwhile, the evening block from 18.00 to 24.00 will be shown the next day from 12.00 to 18.00.
Troika will be broadcast in promo form between December 16-19.
It will be distributed by Astra 3B at 23.5 degrees East and offered in both SD and HD, in the former instance on the public multiplex alongside RTVS’s first and second channels.
