WIND-Hellas has launched a cloud-based recording service. The Android TV solution has been built as a turnkey service by Zappware.
The functionality has been rolled out to all WIND VISION users and includes Series Link that allows consumers to build it as a boxed set of all available episodes.
“This is a significant and ambitious extension of our current service offering,” said Hermann Riedl, Chief Strategy & Digital Transformation Officer of WIND Hellas. We are now giving consumers the freedom to watch their favourite TV shows whenever and wherever they want, whether in the comfort of their own homes or on the go, live or recorded, on all screens.
WIND wants to build all TV channels, including Netflix, around the Google Ecosystem. It now plans to work with Zappware on further enhancements.
“Zappware was able to deploy the initial service from scratch in a record-time and bring it live one and a half years ago. After the launch, the industry awarded this solution the UX award. We are now moving ahead with the feature evolution launching nPVR. Looking forward supporting the further growth of WIND Hellas”, said Patrick Vos, CEO of Zappware.
WIND Hellas provides customers with integrated Mobile, Fixed, Internet and pay-TV.
