Disney Channel on Demand has launched on Volia in Ukraine.
As a result, the cable operator now offers three channels from Disney – Disney Junior, containing blocks of programmes for pre-schoolers aged 2-7; Disney XD, showing mainly animation TV series aimed at teenagers; and Disney Channel, offering cartoons and series – in its on demand service Volia Cinema.
According to Volia, it is in the only provider in Ukraine that provides such licensed content.
Throughout the year, it will show 40 free HD animated series in the service, along with over 500 iconic cult serials from Disney channels.
Furthermore, the content will be completely updated every three months and offered in both the original language and dubbed into Ukrainian.
Volia has worked with Disney for many years and the latter’s movies have become an integral part of the proprietary channel Volia Cine+ Kids.
All told, it has offered its customers five Disney channels since 2014.
