Digi launches Android app

October 22, 2019 10.31 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Czech DTH and IPTV operator Digi TV has introduced a new Android application for its Digi2Go service.

It comes a month after it unvield an iOS app and is currently only available for smartphones and tablets.

However, it will launch an all-new Android TV one for smart TVs and set-top boxes in the next few weeks.

Commenting on the development, Iveta Slapalova, director of Digi TV customer services, said: “At Digi, we continuously modernise and improve the user experience of all the applications we offer. Therefore, after launching the new iOS application, the next clear step was to introduce an improved Android application.

“Customers will appreciate the new features we introduced for iOS. Plus, the Android app gives users the ability to sort channels according to their preferences.”
