Technology from Google and TP-Link is included in new Smart Home packages being introduced by Virgin Media in Ireland.
It’s the first time a Liberty Global affiliate has launched a smart home pack that are available to all Virgin Media broadband customers from €15 per month, including installation by a dedicated Virgin Media Smart Home technician.
The company says its packs are up to €129 cheaper than the recommended retail price of the bundles being purchased separately with a technician install.
“We know that smart home devices can be difficult and time consuming to set up but with a complete set-up by our dedicated technicians, our customers will be enjoying the benefits of smart technology without any hassle,” said Karen Faughnan, Senior Propositions Manager, Virgin Media Ireland.
There are three smart home packs for Virgin Media broadband customers to choose from, Entertainment Pack, The Home Automation Pack and the Complete Pack. The Entertainment Pack includes Google Home Speaker, Google Home Mini and Google Chromecast while the Home Automation Pack includes Google Nest Hello Doorbell, Google Home Mini and TP Link Smart Plugs.
