Oregan Networks have acquired the assets from Swedish software firm Zenterio, after the company exited the sector.
It’s planned to merge engineering and delivery teams in Linköping, Sweden and Guadalajara, Mexico.
Oregan said it plans to offer “seamless support” to Zenterio’s existing customer base. It’s not known if this includes Deutsche Telekom’s hybrid satellite/IPTV box announced in September 2018.
“As part of the overall industry-wide consolidation to drive greater operational efficiencies and roadmap acceleration, we are pleased to welcome our new team members. The former Zenterio talent further strengthens our expertise in pay-TV systems, whilst offering uninterrupted support to Zenterio’s prominent global customers and partners,” said Oregan CEO Mark Perry.
Further engineering recruitment is planned in the UK, Sweden, Mexico and Eastern Europe.
