The Ukrainian regulator National Council has applied to a court to revoke the licence of the satellite TV channel Newsone.
In a statement, it says this follows numerous and repeated violations of national legislation regarding incitement to national, racial and religious hatred.
It also quotes a number of statements on Newsone similar to the “official political and propaganda position of the Russian Federation”.
The National Council has stressed that it has not closed the channel and does not withdraw licences.
The final decision on whether or not to do so will be made by the court.
