IPTV remains the most popular TV reception method in Croatia, with the number of subscribers standing at 428,764 at the end of Q1 this year.
This, according to the latest data published by the regulator HAKOM, was 3.75% more than in the corresponding period last year.
However, the biggest growth was seen in the take-up of cable TV, up 7.12% year-on-year to 182,416.
At the same time, the number of DTH subscribers rose by 3.15% to 144,143.
Other key figures were 162,526 (-17.49%) receiving independent TV services, 68,723 (-0.47%) FTA TV and 656,459 (-4.60%) solely DTT services.
The total income from TV services in Q1 amounted to HRK183,442,437 (€7,150,320), a 2.6% increase on the corresponding period in 2018.
