Executives leave Bulgaria’s Nova

May 10, 2019 09.55 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Bulgaria’s Nova Broadcasting Group, which has been under new ownership for less than a month, has begun to release some of its executives.

Capital reports that they include Silvia Zurleva, most recently a board member, and Viktoria Behar, who less than two months ago was made responsible for the strategic development of news and current affairs shows.

It adds that further departures, as well as new appointments, are being discussed.

As previously reported by Broadband TV News, Modern Times Group (MTG) completed the sale of its 95% stake in the broadcaster to Advance Media Group in early April.

The deal valued Nova at €185 million.
