Motorvision TV will add live coverage of racing events to its international channel.
The broadcasts will be shown across Europe (excluding the UK, Portugal and German-speaking countries) and Africa. On its German channel, available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the pay-TV operator has been screening live coverage since 2010 including the NASCAR cup series.
The season kicks off on April 28, 2019 with the live broadcast of the first round of the TCR Europe Touring Car Series and the second round of the Blancpain GT World Challenge America.
In the upcoming weeks, the Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe, Blancpain GT Endurance Cup, European Le Mans Series, Michelin Le Mans Cup, Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival, two rounds of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, the 24 Hours of Spa and the British GT Championship will join the motorsports events Motorvision TV will show live throughout Europe and Africa.
The launch of live broadcasts in Europe and Africa means that Motorvision TV will split its international channel into two independent feeds with the second one covering Asia where the live footage won’t be available. Asian viewers will, however, be able to watch highlights of all racing series broadcast live in Europe and Africa.
