SPI International/FilmBox has signed a distribution agreement with Lithuania’s UAB Cgates.
As a result, the latter’s customers will have 24/7 access to FilmBox Baltic and FilmBox Arthouse channels when they subscribe to Cgates’ thematic Movie Pack. They will also be able to receive the Fast&FunBox HD channel when subscribing to the thematic Sports Pack.
Commenting on the development, Murat Muratoglu, head of distribution for Middle East, Ex-Yugo, Baltic States, Bulgaria, Greece, India, Turkey, CIS Countries, APAC at SPI International, said: “The Baltic region plays a key role in our international growth strategy. Our newly inked distribution agreement with Lithuania’s UAB Cgates will give subscribers easy and quick access to some of our best thematic channels and programmes”.

UAB Cgates is the second largest provider of digital TV, cable TV and broadband services in Lithuania and has over 160,000 subscribers.
