Orange Polska saw strong growth in its IPTV customer base in 2018, ending the year with 435,000 customers.
This, according to the company’s latest set of results, was up from 333,000 in the same period in 2017.
At the same time, its DTH subscriber total fell from 515,000 to 508,000. Orange Polska’s total TV customer base stood at 943,000 at year’s end, up from 848,000 a year earlier, of which 725,000 (551,0000 was B2C convergent.
Quarterly ARPU for convergent services (B2C) amounted to PLN101.9 (€23.5) per month in Q4 2018, up from PLN103.1 a year earlier.
Meanwhile, total fixed, broadband, TV and VoIP revenues in Q4 stood at PLN472 million, up from PLN418 million a year earlier.
In Romania, Orange Polska’s sister company saw equally strong growth in its TV (cable and DTH) customer base in 2018, the year end figure of 503,000 being 27% higher than in Q4 2017.
Its fixed broadband customer total increased by 53% to 287,000 over the same period.
Orange Romania’s revenues in Q4 2018 amounted to €292 million (+1.8%) and as of the end of 2081 its mobile, fixed and TV services were received by 10,762,100 customers (+1.3%).
