Digi revenues top €1bn

February 15, 2019 08.58 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Digi Communications had consolidated revenues of €1.03 billion in 2017, or 13.2% more than a year earlier.

At the same time, reports Business Review, quoting a statement from the company, its adjusted EBITDA, including the recently-acquired Hungarian alternative telco Invitel, was €3324.6 million, up 12.9% on the previous year.

However, its net profit fell from €62 million in 2017 to €21.3 million last year.

Total RGUs in the four markets Digi operates in at the end of 2018 stood at 14.9 million, up from 13 million a year earlier.

In the pay-TV sector the number of RGUs grew by 9% in 2018 to 4.4 million.

In Digi’s home market Romania, where it operates RCS&RDS, pay-TV RGUs increased by 5.6% to 3.8 million.
