SPI International FilmBox appoints Martin Cappelletti

February 14, 2019 21.11 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Martin Cappelletti has been appointed SPI International/FilmBox’s new on-air promotion and channel branding senior consultant.

Commenting on the development, Berk Uziyel, CEO at SPI International, said: “We are delighted to welcome Martin to SPI’s new on-air promotion and channel branding project. Martin’s extensive media and entertainment industry expertise will play a key role in strengthening SPI’s corporate growth plan and leadership role in our industry”.

Haymi Behar, CMO at SPI International, added: “We are excited to have Martin join our team. His promotion and branding experience will improve our film and thematic channels and grow our audience.

“Martin will be instrumental in developing more attractive content and increase SPI/Filmbox’s global reach”.

Cappelletti was most recently the chief creative officer at AquiMedia Japan, where he was responsible for on air promotion, original production and channel strategy for the Jelly Jamm Kids channel.

He founded and worked at Halia Entertainment, a company that supported local and global broadcast companies looking to expand their business or were trying to respond to the changing TV and film viewing habits of their customer base.

Prior to joining AquiMedia Japan, he also held senior-level positions at Linea-64 Studios, Fox International Channels EMEA and Fish Blowing Bubbles, Germany.
