The Croatian public broadcaster HRT has higher revenues than all the country’s other TV stations put together.
Quoting data from the most recent annual financial statements, analysed by Fina,Poslovni> reports that total revenues in the sector amounted to HRK2.3 billion (€309.4 million), with HRT, employing 2,781 people, claiming HRK1.38 billion.
Nova was in second place with 324 employees and HRK391 million in revenues, followed by RTL Croatia with 261 employees and HRK311 million in revenues.
The research looked at the broadcasting business activities of 51 companies, employing a combined total of 3,781 people. More than half (27) had their headquarters in Zagreb and all counties had at least one, with five being based in Split/Dalmatia.
